You can absolutely fail at 75 questions just like you can pass at 265. Really all you have to do is stay above the baseline on the graph for 60 consecutive questions. Don't have to get them all right, just have to stay above the bar. The other 15 questions don't count ...

Here's my advice to you as an NCLEX tutor: it's called a trick for a reason. Don't do it. Be patient and wait 48 hours for your quick results or if you pass, depending on your state BON, they will email you your license number. My goal was to take 1200 practice questions before the NCLEX. In 30 days that is just 40 practice questions a day. As the test was approaching though, I started doing about 70-100 questions a day. Except for the day before the exam. The day before the exam I took 2 Readiness exams on Archer, and called it a day.What it really boils down to is, whether you have 85 questions, 95 questions, or 205 questions, there is no way to tell if you passed or failed based off of the number of questions you receive.
