RestaurantAccording to Larue, the Larue tool (LT558X17) is to be oriented 45 degrees in relation to the torque wrench used. You then set the torque wrench to your desired torque (do not compensate for the longer lever arm). M4/M16 armorer manuals have you align the barrel/castle nut tool 0 degrees in relation to the torque wrench.As someone who is admittedly something of a LaRue fanboy I was looking forward to this. I own several Ultimate Uppers and they are all shooters and have been 100% reliable. In fact my standard advice to someone looking for an accurate AR at a bargain price is to buy a blemished Aero Precision lower and a LaRue UU kit. Google and past reddit posts have conflicting answers. Is it also possible to slightly file down the bolt catch to be thinner?
