Thanks guys, the rigid tube wasn't the issue. It was the diameter size of the normal grease gun nozzle being too big. My OME 863 rear springs bend the joint so tight that the nozel wouldn't fit, even after compressing the rear springs using a bottle jack under the pumpkin.
