Good inexpensive 1911
I'm going to be in the market for some 1911 mags and this platform is somewhat new to me. I've never owned one till now, but I've shot many different brands and configurations of them. So I figured I would ask those who have the experience, what's a good inexpensive 1911 mag? I see the Mec gar for around $20, Kimber brand for $22-25.The Sig, S&W and Springfield come with 5-inch barrels, and the Nighthawk stands out with its 6-inch barrel. It also boasts lightening cuts on both sides of the slide near the muzzle. These cuts keep the slide at the proper weight for reliable operation with 9mm loads. Their sights also varied.

For me, the cheapest I would go is the milspec. Part of the attraction of a 1911 is that it is like the small block chevy; there is a huge aftermarket for it. You can build it any way you want or you can have a pro do it for you. As far as flamming you goes, don't worry about that. There is no point in fighting about our opinions. congrats, and that's very good price .
