I read where you need to remove the differential cover....and that the fluid is so thick it takes hours to refill. I bought the Cub Cadet HiTran fluid from one of the sponsors here.Drain all of the fluid. While the hydrostatic fluid is draining, install the new transmission filter. Apply a thin layer of transmission fluid to the gasket of the filter. Screw the filter onto the tractor until the gasket seats.
